Manav Mandir Gurukul is one of the arms of Manav Mandir Mission Trust conceived by Acharya Shree Roopchandra Ji Maharaj. The Gurukul is devoted to the idea of Sadhana (Discipline) and Seva (Service). In the direction of bringing a positive change and providing holistic education to the children belonging to needy and deprived sections of the society, the Gurukul was started on the auspicious Mahavir Jayanti Day in 1993 in the temple building, at Ganga Vihar, Sarai Kale Khan, New Delhi. What We Do
Manav Mandir Gurukul is an institution providing educational assistance including Academic support (in the form of after-school tuition classes), Material support (in the form of books, uniforms, school bags, shoes, lunchboxes and other essentials that help a child go to school with dignity), Medical support, Counselling (individual child counselling as well as parents counselling) to the children belonging to marginalised sections of society.
Volunteer
Manav Mandir welcomes volunteers on an individual or group basis. We also invite international students to volunteer as a part of their internship program. Volunteers can choose from a list of options provided to assist the children. Volunteers need to commit to a minimum of four weeks, to achieve continuity and hence tangible outcomes.

Since the Gurukul is one of the arms of the non-profitable public charitable trust "Manav Mandir Mission Trust", all the philanthropic programs and activities of the Gurukul are sustained on public charity and donations.
Our Gurukul Children
Our Gurukul children belong to the marginalised and disadvantaged strata of society including the children from urban slums, children of migrant labourers, children of refugees and also the children from the economically weaker sections. The families of these children because of their socio-economic circumstances, unawareness, illiteracy and several other reasons are unable to look after the educational needs of their children. Manav Mandir Gurukul comes to the rescue of such children and facilitates them in realising their potential.
